Our People

Stu Schaff

Stu is a trusted advisor to the leadership of physician organizations, hospitals, and health systems and healthcare attorneys across the United States on a wide range of physician-hospital alignment, compensation, valuation, and transactional matters.

Stu’s experience includes:

  • Designing physician compensation models for practices ranging from one physician to large, multispecialty groups
  • Appraising the fair market value and commercial reasonableness of hospital-physician compensation arrangements
  • Assessing performance of physician enterprises and developing solutions to reduce subsidies
  • Creating procedures and tools to streamline clients’ physician contracting process
  • Conducting due diligence and valuations of healthcare businesses including medical practices and ambulatory surgery centers
  • Facilitating the formation of clinically integrated networks, accountable care organizations, and ambulatory care networks
  • Developing analyses for business plans, feasibility studies, operational assessments, transactions, and litigation-related matters
  • Frequently presenting at conferences and publishing on healthcare finance and physician alignment topics

In addition to more than a decade of consulting experience with national healthcare-focused firms, Stu has served on the management team of a large AMC-affiliated medical group and has led implementations of financial planning and budgeting software for hospitals and health systems. He is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA).

Stu lives in the Chicago suburbs and loves cooking, traveling, and going on little “adventures” with his family.

Kamille Clare

Kamille is a dedicated healthcare administration professional who has over five years of experience in the service and healthcare industry. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with several physician offices and healthcare systems across the east coast. Kamille’s expertise in healthcare administration and project coordination makes her an invaluable asset to the Intentionate Healthcare Advisors team. She has an intuitive and streamlined approach to improving processes, maximizing efficiency, and cultivating professional relationships across myriad organizations. Her philosophy is centered around empathy, intentionality, and finding ways to help other by providing tangible solutions.

Before joining Intentionate, Kamille worked as an Administrative Coordinator for Mount Sinai Health Systems in NYC. She worked closely with administrative leadership to ensure exceptional delivery of patient-centered care and efficient management of medical departments. She has been a part of several expansion projects, helping small practices and departments to improve performance, efficiency, patient satisfaction, and excellence through periods of change. Demonstrating profound leadership, Kamille has helped to shape work culture in her previous role, improving employee retention through many change initiatives. Kamille holds a B.S in Health Sciences from Long Island University and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Throughout her college years, Kamille has volunteered with the American Red Cross, at local food shelters, and other organizations within her community.

In her free time, Kamille enjoys making pescatarian and vegan recipes from scratch, traveling, learning about ancient history and exploring nature. She hopes to travel to different countries to learn more about early civilizations and ancient herbal teachings. In the future, Kamille would love to give back to underserved communities in Africa who lack access to proper care and spread knowledge on the benefits of optimal health and wellness.
